Photography: Experimenting with angles 

Hey everyone, it has been a while since I picked up my camera and took a few shots. I joined a photography group called Build and Bloom on Facebook a while back. It was founded by one of my favourite photographers Jessica Whitaker! I have learnt so much in the past 5 months especially in terms of using Photoshop and Lightroom.

Initially, I thought it would be really difficult but YouTube is a real life saver! Also, street photography has been great for developing my creative eye and getting comfortable with shooting from different angles. This shoot was inspired by my sister, Kae’s style. She has a way of pulling off quirky but laid back, minimal outfits.

The only way to improve is to learn from past mistakes and keep trying. As Nelson Mandela once said, it always seems impossible until it’s done. The pictures were shot in low lighting so they are a bit grainy but I think it adds to the overall aesthetic of the photos!
