Nyx fix.

I have finally got my hands on a few of the matte lipsticks by Nyx! I picked up Aria and Tea rose. I’m so late to the game but better late than never! You guys know how much I love my matte lipsticks so I had to try these out. Aria is a vibrant purple and has a futuristic feel to it. Tea Rose is a soft pink with a classic vibe and reminds me of afternoon tea.  The funny thing is I have never had tea in my entire 21 years on earth. The thought of it alone makes me gag *shivers*. Anyway, these lipsticks are really pigmented and are not too drying which is perfect! Don’t you just hate the feeling of taking the time to put a lipstick on only to feel like your lips are about to split in half an hour later because they are so dry? I have been there many times my friend.

Everyone needs a nude lippy for the daytime and a purple for those days when you want to make a bold statement. I think my next mission will be finding a lipstick that does not require a lip liner. I want a quick, apply on the go without having to be too precise type of lipstick. Though, in my opinion, lip liners are life.

Lip liner is Night Moth by MAC & lipstick is Aria by NYX
Lip liner is Chestnut by MAC & lipstick is Tea Rose by NYX

The Nyx matte lipsticks are available at Boots. Thanks for reading! What’s your current favourite lipstick? Let me know in the comments section down below. Don’t forget you can follow me on Instagram, Bloglovin and Twitter!

  1. I am currently in love the NYX lip gloss (liquid suede) product line! I’m not a lipstick person at all, so gloss it shall be for me. I’m glad to see I’m not the only person obsessed with their items right now.

    1. I’ve heard those are really good! I want to try the liquid suede lip glosses next time I go makeup shopping. I also want to try their primers and maybe some of their eyeshadows too but not before I get a hold of some Makeup Geek eyeshadows!
