It’s Friday and instead of giving my feet a rest from the endless hours of standing, I decided to endure the pain a bit longer and explore the surrounding area outside Baker’s Street Station. Originally, I was supposed to go to an art gallery but when I got there it was just a tiny white box room with three pieces of art work hung on the wall. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. However, when things don’t go according to plan you have to make the most of a bad situation! On my travels, I encountered a Japanese knives shop and of course, I immediately thought WHOA, I GET TO SEE A SAMURAI SWORD FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! You can imagine my disappointment when I walked into the shop only to see standard kitchen knives with a fancy handle. I need to stop letting my imagination run wild to be honest.
I find it hilarious when I am taking pictures and people look directly at the camera uncertain of whether I am taking a picture of them or the environment around them. Don’t ask me why. Maybe it’s their facial expression. Confusion is written all over their face but there is also a hint of curiosity. They don’t know whether to approach me or walk on and continue with life. So far, the latter rings true.
