A Valentine’s Day Look

Hey everyone! With Valentine’s Day fast approaching I created this simple look which is easy to achieve! You can never go wrong with a smoky eye and red lip. Be bold or go home!

I used:

  1. Primer- Stay Matte Primer by Rimmel
  2. Foundation -Fit Me Foundation (colour: medium)
  3. Contour – Embark  by MAC
  4. Foundation brush
  5. Contour brush
  6.  Highlight- LA Pro Conceal
  7. Blush- Flushed by SLEEK

I used:

  1. Make up brushes
  2. Naked 2 palette
  3. Blush- Flushed by SLEEK
  4. Liquid eyeliner (black) by Collection

I used a light brown eyeshadow as a base and Embark by MAC in the outer corners of my eyes. Then I used my used my blush in the shade Flushed in my crease and blended it out. On my lids I used Busted from my Naked 2 palette and in my tear ducts I used Verve. Remember to blend, blend, blend!

If you want to know how I did my winged eyeliner check out my step by step on how to achieve perfectly winged eyeliner post.

I used:

  1. Russian Red lipstick by MAC
  2. Black lip liner

I prepped my lips with Carmex and then lined them with a black lip liner. Afterwards, I used Russian Red by MAC and blended any harsh lines with a lip brush to give a dark ombre lip. Next, I use a lip brush and some foundation to neaten up my lips.

  1. Love the look as usual!
Btw, I was wondering if you can tell me how you put “read more…” in the email previews of your blog posts that we get as subscribers? Because I don’t want my followers to get my full blog post in their email without having to click on the link! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! Go to edit on your blog post and then click on the icon on the far right hand side. It has 2 think lines separated by broken lines. If you use that icon just before you put your post up then it will come up as read more in e-mails. I hope that was helpful. Let me know if you need any help ☺
